Do you need a Post Office Box?

In Tioga, mail delivery methods can vary depending on the location of your home. While some residents have their mail conveniently delivered directly to their houses, others are required to obtain a Post Office Box (PO Box). It's important to note that the distribution of mailboxes and the requirement for a PO Box can be somewhat scattered throughout the town.

To determine whether you need to set up a PO Box, a helpful indicator is the presence of a mailbox in front of your house. If your residence already has a mailbox, you can typically expect mail delivery to your home address. However, if there isn't a mailbox at your residence, it is likely that you'll need to establish a PO Box to receive your mail.

To set up a PO Box, you can visit the Tioga Post Office located at 24 Main St N Tioga, ND 58852. The friendly staff will assist you in selecting an appropriate box size and guide you through the registration process. Remember to bring along two valid form of identification.

If you have any specific questions or concerns about mail delivery in Tioga, we recommend reaching out to the Tioga Post Office directly, 701-664-6659 or stop in and ask.
